Who we are

What we collect, and why

Almost everything we collect, you choose to give us. Nothing on this page is required to browse the site or look at prices.

If you open an account

We collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, and address and city. We use these to create and secure your account, and to contact you about your orders. Our basis for this is the contract between us when you use the service.

If you place an order

We keep the items you requested and the delivery address you selected, which includes the name, phone number and email saved against that address. Orders placed here are requests — our team confirms availability and the final delivery cost with you before any payment is taken. We do not collect or store card or bank details on this website.

If you message us

Our contact form collects your name, email address, the department you are writing to, and your subject and message, so that the right team can reply to you.

If you join our mailing list

We record your email address, which page you signed up from, and the IP address the sign-up came from. The IP address is kept as evidence that the sign-up was genuine, which protects you from being added by someone else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, and we act on it immediately.

If you apply for a job

Our application form collects your name, email address, contact number, the position you are applying for, your gender, whether you are currently on island, your immigration status, and your work history — your last employer, the dates you worked there and your skills. You may also upload a résumé, a cover letter and a police clearance certificate. We use all of this for one purpose only: to consider your application.

A police clearance certificate is sensitive personal data under the Data Protection Act, because it concerns whether you have committed an offence. We ask for it only where the role requires it, we handle it on the basis of your consent in submitting it, and it is seen only by the people assessing your application.

The form also asks for a referee's name, email address and phone number. We use those details only to take up a reference about you — please make sure your referee is happy to be named before you give us their details. Application documents are kept only for as long as we need them for recruitment.

Routine technical logs

Like nearly every website, our servers keep routine technical logs of the requests they receive, including the IP address each request came from. We use these only for security and troubleshooting, never to build a picture of your browsing.

Google Analytics

For analytics we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google. When you accept analytics cookies, Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> on your device, which remain for up to two years and let Google recognise a returning browser.

Google Analytics collects the pages you view, the approximate location your visit came from, the type of device and browser you use, and how you arrived at our site. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your full IP address. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell this information or use it to identify you personally.

You can read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit.

Your choice, and changing it

The first time you visit, we ask whether to allow analytics cookies. Until you accept, no analytics cookie is stored on your device, and Google receives at most cookieless signals that carry no identifier and cannot recognise you. Declining does not limit the site in any way — you can browse, order and use your account exactly as normal. You can change your mind at any time, either here or from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. It is seen only by:

our own staff, where they need it to answer you, fulfil your order or assess your application;
Google, for the website analytics described above;
anyone we are legally required to disclose it to.

Google processes this information on servers outside the Cayman Islands, including in the United States. Under the Data Protection Act (2021 Revision) we rely on your consent for that transfer, which is why analytics only begins once you have accepted it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account details for as long as your account is open, and order records for as long as we need them for the order itself and for our accounting and tax obligations. Contact form messages are kept for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Job application details and documents are kept only for as long as we need them for recruitment. The analytics cookies Google sets expire after two years, as described above.

Your rights

Under the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act (2021 Revision) you have the right to:

ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy — we respond within 30 days;
ask us to stop or restrict processing your data — we respond within 21 days;
ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
tell us at any time to stop using your details for direct marketing, which we act on immediately;
withdraw your consent to analytics cookies whenever you like, using the button above.
